Nha Trang Bay by Speed Boat
Nha Trang Bay
by Speed Boat
If you haven’t sailed yet the crystal-clear water of the East Sea then this is your Nha Trang
opportunity to discover the bay from a different perspective. Turquoise waters with
excellent visibility make snorkelling and diving at Hon Mun Island a must.
WHY THIS TOUR?
Nha Trang’s main feature is its spectacular crescent-shaped bay dotted with tropical islands, framed by a backdrop of rolling hills. The city area stretches along 6 km of palm-fringed white sands which has gained its recognition as Vietnam’s most popular beach resort.
It is also known as one of the country’s best scuba-dive locations with abundant marine life, including stingrays and reef sharks. Floating like little dots in an ocean of blue, where time fades away with the gentle breeze and washing away on the shores of islets such as Mun Island, this can be your scenery for a day.
TRAIL ITINERARY
08:30 - 16:00
Early in the morning, your transportation will be ready to pick you up and transfer you for an existing day around the Bay of Nha Trang by speed boat. Stop at the uniquely designed Tri Nguyen Aquarium crafted like a barnacle-covered pirate ship. This aquarium houses many species of aquatic life forms and is a great experience for young and old alike.
Shaped like an elongated crescent moon, Nha Trang Bay is one of the most scenic bays across the coastline of Vietnam. Covering a surface area of over 500-square kilometres, the bay extends beyond the beach region. Offshore from one of Vietnam’s main beaches lie numerous islands, some inhabited and many dotted with idyllic fishing villages. Young children will ferry you between the boat and shore by coracle, the round bamboo boats so commonly used in coastal Vietnam. Mun Island has been a favourite for snorkelling or relaxing at the beaches of this island.
Approximately 10 km outside Cau Da, Hon Mun has gained name and fame for its underwater scenery with various spots around the island to satisfy your wanderlust. Only a few permanent residents live on the island that ensures that Mun Island remains a well-protected place inside the Hon Mun National Park. Lunch is a feast of local specialities, freshly prepared while enjoying the azure blue sea.
No better time than to sit back, relax on your (almost) private beach, where a plethora of water sports activities are available, after a delicious meal. If the clear waters call out your name, there will be an opportunity to swim and snorkel in secluded bays. And do not miss the opportunity to dock alongside one of the floating fishing villages, to see the freshest catch of the day.
A relaxing day comes to an end and we will ferry you back on our speed boat back to the mainland and drive you to your overnight address in Nha Trang.
