Hike the Dragon’s Back
on Hong Kong Island
Conquer the Dragon’s Back, a popular and incredibly scenic
hiking route on Hong Kong Island offering gorgeous vistas
of the beaches below and the South China Sea.
WHY THIS TOUR?
Lap up incredible vistas of Hong Kong’s collection of outlying islands while hitting the famous Dragon’s Back trail. The Dragon’s Back is a mountain ridge in south-east Hong Kong that passes through Shek O Peak. In 2019, it was selected as one of the world’s 23 best trails.
The meandering trail takes you up to Shek O Peak, the highest point on the trek. From there you follow the gently undulating ‘backbone’ of the ridge, which gave the hike its well-known name, to Pottinger Gap and down to Big Wave Bay Beach. This easy-to-moderate hike is suitable for families, amateur hikers and all travellers looking for an adventure.
