One of the highlights of any trip to Thailand is tasting the local cuisine. For a true taste of the kingdom, Asian Trails arranges hands-on culinary excursions that showcase the nation’s wide range of culinary flavours and textures.
As part of a multi-day adventure exploring Thai life and culture, a corporate group from Europe recently enjoyed an Asian Trails’ gastronomic activity in the heart of busy Bangkok.
The culinary masterclass took place in the vibrant Silom district where participants explored a local market and learned how to choose the best fresh vegetables, herbs and spices. During the experience, participants experienced cooking traditional recipes, gained an insight into different types of chillis and discovered the unique ingredients that make Thai-style food one of the best cuisines in the world.
This hands-on experience is ideal for groups of up to 30 people, with two people at each cooking station. The participants’ aprons and other items can be personalised with a logo or corporate branding.
