SUNSET COCKTAIL CRUISE IN BAGAN
Sip evening cocktails while enjoying a leisurely cruise on the Chindwin River. This serene journey is the perfect way to end a day of touring and temple-hopping in Bagan. Guests can relax and take in the views of riverside pagodas and small villages while drifting peacefully along the picturesque river.
During the one-and-a-half-hour voyage, the boat’s crew offer insights into life and culture in Myanmar, including a demonstration of how to wear a traditional longyi, a popular item of local fashion. Learn the different ways to tie the longyi, either as a full-length skirt-like garment or pulled up around the legs in the style of lethwei fighters in ancient times.
This evening cruise departed on its maiden voyage in October 2023. The boat departs from Ayar jetty in Bagan at 4.30pm, seating groups of up to 20 people with cocktails and local snacks served on board.
