Mangrove Day in Bali
Mangrove Day in Bali
Get involved in mangrove planting projects that have a far-reaching impact on both the environment and local communities. During this activity, guests have a chance to give back through conservation and community engagement while also learning about the importance of mangrove forests and their role in the natural ecosystem.
After a 10-minute canoe ride to reach the mangrove plantation area, guests can get their hands dirty, quite literally, by planting mangrove trees and cleaning up debris washed ashore from the sea. By contributing to the protection of the fragile local coastal environments, guests are making a significant impact, one mangrove at a time.
The mangrove conservation site is located in the Kuta area of Bali, Indonesia, just 20 minutes’ drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. The activity takes one to three hours and it can be arranged for groups of 50 to 70 people at a time.
