Push to create safer environments for children in China
Asian Trails China is pleased to announce it has met the criteria to become a ChildSafe Movement Partner.
This is one of the latest achievements our country team has added to a broader range of commitments that targets responsible and socially aware business activities. This will enable us to contribute to wider efforts to protect the youth of China.
The ChildSafe Movement was created in 2005 to protect children and youth from all forms of abuse; to prevent children and youth from engaging in dangerous behaviour; and to influence the global community to create positive environments for children and youth to thrive in.
This is achieved through behaviour change campaigns such as the ‘children are not tourist attractions’ initiative which strives to end negative practices, such as orphanage tourism.
