For a night of pure escapism, head off on an Asian Trails’ excursion to the Junkyard Theatre on Phuket. Inspired by the island’s diverse social landscape, the show combines a juxtaposition of East and West experiences – with opposing cultures clashing in the most absurd ways possible. The performance consists of an eclectic collection of quirky and comedic musical numbers, decadently crafted sets, acrobatic dance routines and comedic skits.
This is Phuket as it has never been seen before! – the talented performers from both Thailand and overseas present a humorous take on island life and explore the quirks and taboos of traditional local life and the unique Thai/expatriate relationship on Phuket. The package includes dinner with a ‘junkyard twist’; the three-course Thai set menu meal incorporates distinct tastes and a playful presentation. The show operates every Saturday night, with a minimum 16 age limit.
