Magical Mekong sunset cruise

The perfect way to wind down after a day of sightseeing and cultural discovery in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh is to embark on a leisurely cruise on the Mekong River.

Mekong Magic, which launched earlier this year, is one of the newest boats on the river and it departs daily for a memorable sunset voyage. The 90-minute round-trip journey offers views of three rivers, namely the Mekong River, the Tonle Sap River and the Four Faces Rivers. Guests are treated to scenes of local life along the way, including stilted houses and fishing villages, as well as new developments in the Diamond Island district.

This experience offers unique views of Phnom Penh’s ever-changing skyline and the city’s new cable-stayed bridge which is lit up in the evening with the blue and red colours of the national flag.

Guests have the option of enjoying a buffet meal on board or simply relaxing and taking in the riverside vistas with free-flow local beer or soft drinks. For more details or to enquire about bookings, contact Asian Trails Cambodia
