Luxury meets wildlife in city-state
Set to open on 2 April 2025, Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree is nestled within Singapore’s Mandai Wildlife Reserve, overlooking the scenic Upper Seletar Reservoir.
Banyan Tree’s first property in the Lion City offers easy access to several wildlife attractions, including Bird Paradise, Night Safari, River Wonders, Singapore Zoo and the newly opened Rainforest Wild Asia.
The resort offers 338 rooms, including 24 treehouses with private patios. Each room is equipped with natural ventilation, energy consumption tracking and rainwater recycling systems, demonstrating a strong commitment to the environment. This sustainable approach has gained certification from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
Dining options include Japanese fusion cuisine and an all-day venue with a glass veranda seating up to 70 guests. A ballroom accommodates up to 300 guests and the upcoming Banyan Tree Spa will deliver signature wellness treatments.
The resort’s opening coincides with the recent launch of Rainforest Wild Asia, an adventure wonderland featuring suspension bridges, rock walls, cavern trails and encounters with 36 animal species roaming freely within the park.
Mandai Rainforest Resort is conveniently located 30 minutes from the city centre. For more information and bookings, contact Asian Trails Singapore
