Heritage Line’s newest boutique luxury cruise embarked on its maiden voyage on 27th August 2023 and it got a seal of approval from our Business Development Manager for Laos Saita Kiatikhema.
“The boat is magnificent and every detail has been thought of, including a deck for yoga and a spa at the back of the boat with a large bay window overlooking the river,” Saita said.
Cruising along the upper Mekong River, Anouvong offers inspiring and intimate journeys with just 10 spacious cabins. The three-, seven- or nine-night voyages embrace the slow travel philosophy, combining a relaxing on-board experience with visits to ethnic villages and riverside communities between Laos, the Golden Triangle and Northern Thailand.
Amid the spectacular natural backdrops, the cruise line delivers memorable dining moments, including classic Lao cuisine with a fusion twist.
The lavishly decorated staterooms come with spacious living areas and floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to French-style balconies.
The seven-night journey starts at Huay Xai and ends in the Lao capital of Vientiane. The nine-night itinerary travels in the reverse direction, from Vientiane to Huay Xai. Both journeys include a stop at Luang Prabang en route. The three-night option travels between Luang Prabang and Huay Xai in either direction.
