Giving the gift of life in Laos

This festive season, embrace the spirit of giving by arranging a visit to the Friends Visitor Centre in Luang Prabang for your clients.

Nestled in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage city, the centre offers a variety of handmade Lao crafts, with all proceeds directly supporting critical healthcare for children in need.

Housed in the charming ‘Blue House’ a beautifully preserved French heritage building, the centre partners with artisans from remote villages to showcase traditional Lao linen, silk and cotton products. All profits go to the Lao Friends Hospital for Children (LFHC), a medical facility which provides life-saving treatments to over 40,000 children each year.

In a country where child malnutrition and high infant mortality rates are ongoing challenges, every purchase has a meaningful impact. The centre also offers a unique venue for groups, with room for up to 20 people to learn about LFHC’s vital work and its mission to give every child in Laos a better chance to thrive.
