Cooking in a sustainable style in Phuket
Cooking in a sustainable style in Phuket
The dining experience is uniquely out-of-the-box at JAMPA, a restaurant in an idyllic rural, lakeside setting on the island of Phuket.
The establishment has an open-kitchen arrangement, with live fires that create intense flavours from the wood used in the cooking process. Sustainability is also at the core of all operations. JAMPA’s own organic farm supplies ‘farm to fork’ high-end produce with a menu based on the locality’s daily yield.
The operators follow a zero-carbon footprint by using local ingredients sourced on-site without the need for transportation. They have also implemented a zero-waste food concept through the use of organic compost on the farm.
