Chinatown icon open for business
An architectural icon and a cultural treasure, the 19-apartment Ann Siang House has opened to guests near Chinatown. The upgrade has maintained the building’s rich 1920’s heritage – it was formerly a clan house for Chinese immigrants who would gather to play mahjong.
The hotel is part of the ‘Unlimited Collection by Oakwood’ and a stay deviates from the conventional hospitality experience. The rooms have been designed to match guests’ lifestyles, for example, there are culinary rooms with kitchenettes for those keen to cook.
The Ann Siang House’s location is also perfect to explore the lively nightlife and access Singapore’s central business district.
