China visa-free for Australia, New Zealand, Poland
Citizens of Australia, New Zealand and Poland can now travel to China for up to 15 days without a visa.
These three countries now join a list of 12 other countries that were previously granted visa-free travel status, including Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.
This policy is effective from 1 July 2024 until 31 December 2025 and applies to visits for business, tourism, family visits and transit. Travellers who do not meet the criteria for visa exemption are required to obtain a China visa from their nearest embassy or consulate prior to travel.
The relaxed visa policies are part of China’s ongoing efforts to promote cultural exchange and strengthen ties between these nations.
