China experts unveil unchartered areas of the Yellow River
As travel returns to normality post-lockdown and the growing desire for exploration of vast open spaces continues, our China design specialists have developed leisure products focused on the huge expanse of the Yellow River.
Stretching 5,464-km across the country, this is the second-longest river in China after the Yangtze and the sixth lengthiest in the world. Its importance in the development of the country has earned it a reputation as ‘the cradle of Chinese civilization’. As part of our ‘out of the ordinary’ tours concept, guests are taken on inspirational excursions that include the glaciers of Amnye Machen, the country’s largest salt lake, and the turquoise waters of Kyaring Lake and Nyoring Lakes.
Besides adventure elements, culture seekers will enjoy an immersion into Tibetan culture, with visits to monasteries and picturesque mountainside villages.
