Cambodia reduces e-visa fees in 2025
In an effort to boost tourism, Cambodia has reduced its e-visa fees, effective January 1, 2025. The tourist visa (e-visa T) now costs US$30, down from US$36, and the regular visa (e-visa E) is now US$35, reduced from US$42.
This move is part of the country’s broader strategy to make travel more affordable and accessible to tourists, enhancing its appeal as a top destination in South-East Asia. The new fees are a welcome change for travellers planning to explore the kingdom’s rich culture, history and natural beauty, ranging from the awe-inspiring temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park near Siem Reap, the lively capital of Phnom Penh, the tranquil islands of Koh Rong and Koh Krabey and quaint cities, such as Battambang and Kampot.
In 2024, Cambodia welcomed six million international tourists, a 22 per cent increase on 2023.
