Asian Trails minimising plastic waste in Indonesia
In a dedicated effort to minimise our impact on the environment, Asian Trails Indonesia is taking proactive steps to make travel more sustainable. We are now transitioning to using refillable glass bottles instead of plastic bottles for our transportation services in Yogyakarta. Glass bottles will be provided in vehicles for groups of up to six people.
For larger groups, we will provide a large container to dispense water in vehicles and guests will receive a portable metal bottle which they can refill as required.
This initiative has already been implemented in Bali to great success and we are continuing in roll out our efforts to reduce our overall use of single-use plastics. We firmly believe that these small changes can have a substantial positive impact on our planet.
