Travel is the Soundtrack of your Life
As the world is slowly starting to recover from this very peculiar time, I found myself reflecting on the meaning of travelling and what it brings to all of us in the senses of experience and enrichment.
During the past few weeks, I have been working from home, as most of my colleagues all around the world, and had to make “a virtue out of necessity”, rediscovering what I have always felt to be a strong drive in my life, the urge to create and to experience.
During this unusual moment we are all living in, I transformed what used to be my very humble “home music studio” into my “home office” finally being able to merge my two passions into a holistic whole which is more than the sum of its parts. It has been a co-functioning space for me to relax after a long working day with some new and enticing music while eagerly waiting to start to travel again and discover the world.
I consider myself lucky to have a strong passion for music, as much as for travelling, and it has always been a belief of mine that every experience has a soundtrack, a piece of music, a sound that connects the single parts of this experience into a totally new whole. From the sound of waves crashing into the shore of white sandy Surin Beach in Phuket, the sound of birds chirping in the morning in Ubud to the sound of the breezy wind on a walk-in Sapa, I can’t wait for these soundtracks of our lives to be back to normal again.
And now, after some interesting and lively webinars and communication with our international clients, it’s time to go back to “Slap da Bass!!” 😊
