Cambodia’s national airline undergoes name change
From 1 January 2025, Cambodia’s national airline will officially change its name from Cambodia Angkor Air to Air Cambodia.
The move is part of the airline’s efforts to improve service quality and strengthen brand recognition while also adapting to rapid market development. The announcement also coincides with the acquisition of three new ATR 72-600 aircraft, which are set to enhance the flying experience for passengers in the coming year.
The airline currently operates flights to popular destinations in Asia, such as Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Vientiane.
New routes are also planned, including daily flights between Phnom Penh and the Thai capital of Bangkok, which are scheduled to take off from 17 February 2025.
