Tour Administrator (Latin Markets) | Thailand
About the role

For this challenging role based in our Bangkok office, Asian Trails is searching for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to support our Latin Manager, handling Spanish, Portuguese tour operators and travel agent clients. This position will report directly to the Department Manager. The successful candidate will be required to maintain a high standard of service for agents and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Handle group quotation requests from Spanish and Portuguese-speaking source markets;
  • Consult and inform agents about the destination to suggest adequate products;
  • Deliver competitive and attractive quotations and adhere to strict turnaround times (ideally 24 hours);
  • Input all services in the reservation management system, prepare all documents (such as itinerary and vouchers) for the operations department to handover to clients and guides;
  • Submit documents to hotels or suppliers concerned and liaise with our business partners to ensure all services are up to date;
  • Follow up with agents on acceptance of proposal and materialisation of business;
  • Solve internal and external operational issues and coordinating with representatives.
Qualifications
  • Successfully completed degree of international tourism;
  • Fluent command of English (both verbal and written). Spanish is an advantage;
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Proven track record and experience on GIT bookings;
  • Expertise and knowledge about Thailand destinations. Knowledge of Indochina is a plus;
  • A creative mindset and proactive approach;
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A think-out-of-the-box and hands-on attitude;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and excellent computing skills;
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak moments;
  • Hardworking and friendly, service minded attitude;
  • Candidates must be detail-oriented and possess good negotiation skills;
  • A “Can Do” attitude, positive mindset and creative thinking is an asset.
