Ticketing Officer | Thailand
About the role
The purpose of this role is to manage all service-orientated operations within the ticketing office. The successful candidate will be required to interact with customers and respond to customer complaints.
Responsibilities
- Update and print the fare sheet from all airlines on a daily basis;
- Acknowledge and respond to all clients’ emails;
- Deliver airfare quotations and offers to clients upon request;
- Make reservations and issue domestic and international e-tickets;
- Issue company invoices and vouchers;
- Upload and update airfares on company’s website;
- Make reservations for low-cost airlines;
- Prepare refund documents and submit to all airlines;
- Submit domestic air ticket reports to Thai Airways (TG);
- Submit IATA sales reports to BSP office;
- Submit monthly air ticket reports to CEO;
- Submit weekly invoice & credit note reports to the Accounting Department;
- Prepare report from the bangkoktickets.com website;
- Coordinate with other departments within our offices for booking land services;
- Follow up on payments with customers;
- General administration tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any related field;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- At least 1 year experience in a travel & tourism company;
- Hardworking, diligent and capable of working well under pressure;
- Basic skills in either Amadeus or Abacus is preferable;
- Expert knowledge of flight & ticketing;
- Strong problem-solving & issue management skills.
