Celebrate Hue’s heritage on a culinary cruise
Launching on 30 April, 2025, the Hueritage Cruise introduces an elegant new way to experience the beauty and history of Hue.
Set against the serene backdrop of the Perfume River, this unique dining journey blends fine Vietnamese cuisine with storytelling, traditional arts and scenic riverside views. Guests can choose from a lunch cruise, which navigates between 11 am and 2 pm or a dinner cruise, which departs at 4.30 pm and returns at 7.30 pm. Each journey offers a thoughtfully curated programme, showcasing the soul of Vietnam’s former imperial capital.
The afternoon trip takes guests alongside storied riverside villages, including Hen Islet, known for its rustic cuisine; Sinh Village, famed for traditional folk paintings; Bao Vinh, a 17th century trading port and Thanh Tien, a village that is home to paper flower artisans.
The evening cruise travels upstream towards Hue’s sacred sites, passing Kim Long Village, Thuy Bieu, the Royal Arena of Ho Quyen, Thien Mu Pagoda and Van Thanh Temple.
Guests enjoy onboard fine dining inspired by ancient royal recipes, a royal tea ritual and a live performance of Ca Hue, Hue’s elegant chamber music. This is also available on request for the lunch service. Additional highlights include cultural talks, artisan displays and cooking classes.
The Hueritage Cruise accommodates up to 48 guests and departs from Nghinh Luong Dinh Pier. Private charter cruises are available for weddings and special events. To plan a journey or to inquire about tailor-made experiences in Hue, contact our team at Asian Trails Vietnam
