Senior Inbound Manager | Indonesia
About the role
This important role within the Inbound Department at Asian Trails Indonesia will communicate with all Inbound Managers and teams, providing support by implementing strategies that enhance productivity and performance to maximise business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility and supervision of the Inbound Department;
- Fully understand the range of sustainable products available and share this information with the team and agents to increase sales of those products;
- Invite agents to take part in Asian Trails’ Refillable Water Bottle and Carbon Offsetting initiatives;
- Seek ways to improve strategy and provide excellent services to enhance client satisfaction;
- Be a key contact person to ensure the highest level of service possible;
- Manage the Inbound Team and encourage open communication for any problems related to their work;
- Evaluate work performance and coach the team on their assignments to ensure ongoing development;
- Work collaboratively with all other departments;
- Coordinate with the Product Manager to develop programmes;
- Coordinate with the Business Development Manager to expand current markets;
- Coordinate with the Sustainability Manager to ensure responsible tourism practices.
Qualifications
- Open for Indonesian nationals and foreign citizens;
- Native level English, both written and spoken;
- Excellent experience in the tourism industry;
- Extensive knowledge of Indonesia’s tourism products;
- Experience with Destination Management software;
- Leadership skills with a pleasant personality and strong initiative;
- Good analytical skills and business sense;
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills;
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, presentational – with clarity of expression;
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office (World, Excel, Outlook) applications and computing skills;
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to prioritise workload efficiently;
- Good decision-making and problem-solving capability;
- Multitasking skills;
- Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season;
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team;
- A “Can Do” attitude, positive mindset and creative thinking is an asset.
