Explore Chinatown by Night, a Digital Trail in Bangkok

Asian Trails is delighted to announce changes to our Digital Trails services in Bangkok. Due to growing popularity, our Chinatown by Night guided walks now operate daily except Mondays. The tour is included as part of our recommended 72-hour Bangkok Pass, but guests with limited time can now enjoy the guided walk as a stand-alone experience.

Presenting a unique exploration of Bangkok’s neon-lit streets, Chinatown by Night takes guests into one of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods to discover trendy street stalls and local eateries. Led by a local expert, these evening walks are popular amongst guests, including young, independent travellers, families and groups of friends.

Chinatown by Night is part of our Digital Trails collection, a new mode of travel that gives guests the freedom to explore at their own pace with just a smart phone in their pocket. The full Bangkok Pass gives guests access to all guided and self-guided tours within a 72-hour period. Learn more about the Digital Trails experience here.

We recommend combining Chinatown by Night with our Hop-on Hop-off Bus experience around Bangkok, where guests can take in the sights from the bus as it loops around the city during the day and explore Chinatown on foot with our expert guide by night.

Our other Digital Trails in Bangkok, such as Bangkok Cultural Gems and Historic Siam remain available for booking. Guests are asked to confirm bookings at least 12 hours in advance. These trails can also be enhanced with an evening dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River.

To mark the occasion, we are offering a promotional 10 per cent discount on any new Chinatown by Night bookings for travel between 1 November 2024 and 30 April 2025. Bookings can be made directly via our online B2B platform, eConnect or by emailing our team at voxcitywalksbangkok@asiantrails.org
