The hotel, which opened in late 2023, integrates nature and art in every corner, turning waste products into a thing of beauty. A wall of reclaimed coconut shells in the lobby is a testament to local craftsmanship, showing the different hues and shapes of the once discarded husks.
The woven bamboo doors that feature throughout the property pay tribute to Thailand’s rich heritage, helping to preserve the slowly dying art of bamboo weaving. Local art and artisans are further celebrated in each of the guestrooms, where the headboards are fashioned by local craftsmen and painted in the traditional batik style.
Designed to minimise energy consumption, the hotel maximises the use of natural light and also integrates solar energy.
