Bangkok’s riverside restaurant returns
After a five-year closure, one of Bangkok’s favourite culinary institutions has made a much-awaited return, once again impressing diners with its award-winning Thai fare.
Located on the Chao Phraya River, Supatra River House was once the residence of Khunying Supatra Singholaka, a former royal lady-in-waiting who founded the city’s river ferry service over a century ago. The historic Thai house was eventually turned into a restaurant in 1998 and has delivered many happy memories for Asian Trails’ guests over 20 years.
Over the last few years, the restaurant has benefited from essential restoration work. The large space is ideal for group gatherings and MICE events, complete with a well-presented menu of authentic and award-winning Thai cuisine.
The best way to access the restaurant is by the river. A traditional wooden boat departs from Maharaj Pier, taking guests on a short journey and setting the stage for a memorable evening.
Asian Trails is delighted to see the return of one of our long-standing partners in Bangkok. We highly recommend this venue for any upcoming events or celebrations. For more details and bookings, contact Asian Trails Thailand.
