Vietnam extends e-visa and visa-free entry

I am pleased to introduce this month’s Trailblazer with exciting news from Vietnam. Starting from 15 August 2023, travellers will be able to stay longer and enjoy more flexible travel as Vietnam’s e-visas will allow for stays of up to 90 days, multiple entry. In addition, travellers from certain countries can stay visa-free for up to 45 days. For more details, click here.

These visa changes come at a time when visitors will be able to experience Vietnam at its best. While visitor numbers are yet to recover to pre-pandemic levels, this is a great time to retreat to the country’s mountains and beaches for a quiet, relaxing stay, away from the crowds.

The latter months of the year also bring pleasant weather to most parts of the country, whether guests are heading out for an active trek in the mountains of Sapa in the North or want to enjoy the slow life on a river cruise in the Mekong Delta in the South. The landscapes are often the most photogenic between September and October when the rice fields shine in stunning yellow and golden colours. The famous Halong Bay also enjoys pleasant weather and is ideal to visit between October and December.

As we look ahead to expanding our future business potential, I am delighted to introduce Quentin Chausson as our new Business Development Manager for Asian Trails Vietnam. French national Quentin has a solid background in the travel industry in Asia and will work closely with our clients in the Latin markets. We are happy to welcome Quentin to our team.

Happy Trails!
