Live like a royal on board Suriyan Chandra, a premium rice barge that transports guests along the river in the heart of Thailand’s former capital, Ayutthaya. Featuring handcrafted woodwork and floral decorations, the beautifully crafted river vessel serves drinks and royal style canapes while drifting past local communities and historical riverside scenes.
On arrival at the riverside location, guests are welcomed through a wooden gateway that takes them back in time to an old mill shed decorated with vintage furniture. After stepping aboard the reconstructed rice barge, guests are transported down the Noi River, passing enchanting scenes of the old kingdom along the way.
The barge accommodates up to 12 people while several barges can cater for groups of up to 36. Options for Thai performances and traditional costumes for delegates can be arranged to enhance the on-board experience.
