After viewing the amazing Khmer Empire temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park, visitors to Siem Reap can explore the surrounding expansive countryside on four-wheel quad bikes. Life takes on a more tranquil vibe and moves at a much slower pace in this sleepy destination.
The machines enable exploration of the hidden beauty beyond ‘temple town’. Groups of up to 60 delegates can access remote locations that conventional vehicles cannot. Besides absorbing an ever-changing panorama of rustic life, a brief stop is made at a small 9th century temple hidden in a dense forest – a shrine few get to see. Delegates then take another pause as the sun sinks on an idyllic rural landscape of lush rice paddies and picturesque farming villages.
This sunset tour provides a true connection with nature.
