The morning starts with a short transfer from your Hong Kong hotel to the Chinese Medicine Museum. A centre of education and study, the curators of this fascinating museum have been lauded for keeping all practices and historical findings surrounding traditional Chinese medicine preserved. Headed by highly respected practitioners, you are guided through the museum to find out why equilibrium between humans and their surroundings are the foundations of living a healthy life. From yin and yang, the forces of nature, and how these ancient methods still find their way in the Hong Kong of today. The morning will be filled with facts and the ethics behind Chinese medicine before we admire some real-life examples in downtown Hong Kong. Lunch is included at a local restaurant.
Feng Shui (wind and water) plays a crucial role in modern Hong Kong. The principles of finding the right angle, connected with the all-encompassing balance, still prevail in today’s modern society. The afternoon is all about discovering the Feng Shui principles at some of the most iconic streets and regions in Hong Kong. Stops at the Lung Cheung Lookout, Wanchai and Statue Square all showcase examples of this universal principle of balance, good fortune, and bringing good luck. The afternoon ends on a high note at one of the elevated watch points on the Kowloon side with stunning views over Victoria Harbour, Kai Tak and Hong Kong’s highest mountain, Tai Mo Shan, before returning to your hotel.
