For an alternative view of the ancient seaport of Hoi An, delegates are taken to a green environment filled with meandering waterways and dense vegetation – the perfect setting for a basket boat race.
With the capacity to accommodate up to 150 paddlers in a contest, this event involves participants racing against the clock and their fellow competitors, with two rowers in each vessel. The course follows a round route alongside small islands and through a dense labyrinth of water coconut palm trees – hazards that plunge into the water and make the navigation more difficult.
Aside from the team building element, this activity also provides an insight into the rural lifestyle of Hoi An through its fishing and farming background.
MEETINGS AND INCENTIVES DETAILS
9 am – 5 pm
Participants are free to come in leisurely beach wear, providing that wearing scantily-clad beach wear, or beach wear with obscene text and graphics, for both ladies and gentlemen is not accepted. We highly recommended bringing a change of clothing (2 sets), towel, swim wear and slippers / waterproof sandals.
