IT Manager

Purpose of the role
    As businesses are increasingly reliant on technology, your role as IT manager is crucial to business continuity and success. You will take on a centralized role on all IT solutions in Vietnam that will best help them grow and perform more efficiently. You’ll work from beginning to end, outlining the most effective resources and oversee projects through design, development to completion as outlined with the company’s requirements aligned with its technical advances. From optimizing all soft and hard ware functionalities, aside with a decent knowledge of graphic programs, this versatile role will ensure working with capable travel professionals in a highly-demanding commercial environment.
Overall responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility of the smooth functioning of all hard and software throughout Vietnam
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate all processes related to all aspects of information technology
  • Lead and monitor system functionalities, ranging from back-up solutions, implementation and development of new IT solutions
  • Act as an intermedia between suppliers, active users and management to ensure clear communication and aligned with company policy
  • Troubleshooting and suggesting upgrades where needed,
  • Conduct viable and constructive audits on existing system schematics, networks and in line with budgets
  • Spearheading graphic requirements, ranging from illustrations, video and photo enhancements, aligned with the corporate guidelines of the Asian Trails Group for a unified marketing approach
  • Cost control in alignment with annual IT prepared and approved budgets
  • Closely collaborating with all other departments in Vietnam
  • Other tasks as assigned by the General Manager
  • Proven track record as an IT Manager or relevant position in a multi-office set-up
  • University degree or similar in Information Technology
  • Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical matters in a more understandable way
  • Proficient in English is a must; other languages are considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Network schematics, hardware telecommunications and programming languages. A great knowledge in digital and e-commerce related matters is an asset
  • Able to work independently in a thriving team environment, excelling in troubleshooting solutions, and the ability to continue to communicate during any project-related matter to the assigned contact person
  • The ideal candidate must be detailed-orientated, service-minded, some experience in negotiations and have a drive to deliver exceeding expectations
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season. A "Can Do" attitude and positive thinking that includes creative thinking is an asset
  • This position is only open for Vietnamese nationals
