For our office in Bali, Asian Trails Indonesia is currently seeking suitable and dynamic candidates that fulfill the criteria as mentioned below for the position of

Inbound Reservation Officer (Indonesian Nationals Only)


Purpose of the role Asian Trails Indonesia’s role for Inbound Reservation Officer is a key position for communication between the Asian Trails office and its overseas partners to fulfil the needs of its customers. A large part of the role is to ensure that quotations, reservations and itineraries are created in line with the customers’ requirements in a professional, timely manner.

Overall responsibilities
  • Responsible for communication with the overseas travel agencies and tour operators
  • Preparation of itineraries and quotations throughout the country, ranging from standard tour options to tailor-made itineraries within a timely matter and as outlined in the company’s standard operating procedures
  • Sending reservation requests to hotels and land service providers throughout Indonesia
  • Follow up on sent over programs
  • Ensuring that all relevant data is uploaded in Asian Trails’ administration system
  • Coordination with the operation department in our other Indonesian offices in booking land services and guides,
  • Follow up payment with its customers
  • General administration tasks,
  • Work closely with colleagues from other departments and offices within the Asian Trails Group
Qualifications, skills and requirements
  • Command of verbal and written English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential. Other language skills (French, Spanish or German) are definitely an asset
  • Experience in the travel & tourism industry in Indonesia is a plus, preferably in a similar role for at least 2 years
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry, destination and product knowledge is a requirement
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications and excellent computing skills
  • Enjoys team work, but is able to work independently and has an eye for detail
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season. A "Can Do" attitude and positive thinking, includes creative thinking
  • A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to prioritize and organize are preferred skill sets to fill this role. Working under pressure is to be expected
  • This position is open for Indonesian nationals only
